I want to know who in the hell this U.S. judge who told a Buffalo teacher convicted of having sex with a 15-year-old girl that he could avoid a one-year jail sentence by accepting a 3-year exile to Canada.. thinks he is?
Cheektowaga Justice Thomas Kolbert could not be reached for comment, of course. Generally speaking, when people do something completely wrong and stupid, they can rarely be reached to comment on it. It's probably best that way too, since I imagine they'd just be likelier to display more absurdity or outright ridiculousness if we questioned their decisions.
And a one year jail sentence for sex with a minor? Um.. why bother at all? According to one of the articles, the girl's family is happy with the decision.
I never thought I'd say this about a molestation victim, but seriously.. the girl and her family can go fuck themselves. Anyone with half a brain sends their molestor to jail. They do not agree to foist their problem on another community.
What is wrong with the US legal system should be glaringly obvious by that retarded judges offer, don't you think?
I can't even manage to sympathize with the victim here, either. Molestors go to jail, not to a new country for 3 years. Are they all perfectly fine with the thought that while he's living in a Canadian community for 3 years, he may end up molesting a kid here? But I guess that's alright... so long as he stays away from the girl he's already molested.

I don't know exactly what would need to be done by regular folks like you and me to get this pig out of Canada (as if we aren't riddled with enough of our own perverted pigs as it is), but we should all find a way to join in on the efforts of lawyers in Canada to get rid of him. To put him in jail where he belongs.. oh, and for more than a year.

The gaul of this pervert's Buffalo lawyer Oscar Smukler to say, that he had researched Canadian rules and thought it unlikely that Canada will do anything to upset the arrangement baffles me. Unless the U.S. plans to take in some of our perverts and scumbags, the dumping of theirs won't fucking fly here. It had better not be allowed to fly here.
