Read this, too. The man has NO STATUS in Canada. He should not have even been allowed past the border. So not only are the Americans to blame for this, but the border guards are as well.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one thinking the sentence is insane. Not to mention that it's not really a sentence at all, but more like a vacation and a chance for this sex offender to help himself to a new Canadian under-age victim.
Canada isn't a "buffet" for pedofiles anymore than America is (or should be), so listen up any Americans involved in this case:
"Deal with your own fucking perverts, thanks!"
