Send him where? Part 2...

I've never much liked Stockwell Day, but alas... maybe there's a brain in his head afterall.

He wants an investigation into the sexual predator who was banished to Canada. I am pretty certain that much like the US, Canada does not accept felons/convicted criminals across their borders.

Robert Kolken, a Buffalo immigration lawyer, told the Toronto Star that exiling a citizen is unheard of.

"I don't see how a judge sitting in a criminal court in the U.S. can lawfully banish a citizen as a condition of sentencing," he said.

"The real issue is whether it's legal or not," he told the paper, adding that he wonders whether the sentence can even be enforced.

I am so following this story. It seems to me, however that it keeps getting watered down. Telling an entire country that essentially, "here... you deal with our pedofile, suckers!" can't ever be watered down.
