Moving... redeux

Yes, Moving again. Stupid fire. Anyway...

My new place is right behind (or in front of, depending...) my office. Talk about cool.

No more commuting rants from me now. I do still have to commute downtown until school is finished, but that ain't gonna be during "rush hour". That'll be between 6 PM and roughly 9-10 PM. The train.. oh yes.. the TRAIN will be comfy, spacious and likely about half empty during those hours. Both ways!

I have other non-commuting rants though, but I haven't had time to finish them. They started out promising, then I got sidetracked by all things "fire in my building" related and dropped the posting ball.

I am really cheesed-off that I have to pay for yet another move because some dill-weed decided to do something stupid and fire ensues. The guy who started the fire, thus killing his dog (a very gorgeous rottweiler) and leaving 13 other families homeless is refusing to talk. Not "is too injured, and so can't comment", but REFUSES to say what happened /what he was doing. So we still don't know what happened.

I'll post pics of the damage once I can get them FTP'd.

I don't know what's going to happen to fire-boy, but hopefully it'll involve bars. If at all possible, I'm planning to try and recoup my movers' costs at the very least.
