Moderation...

Posting to mailing lists has it drawbacks, fun as it can be.

One of the biggest drawbacks would be moderators. Not just any moderator, though, because some can be complete dick-wads as far as their personality goes.. ok maybe not dick-wads... but at the very least dull... but most of the mods I come into contact with lately couldn't be less biased and hyper-sensitive if they tried.

On this one list, I get my posting privledges suspended for a few days quite often.. what's worse is that I generally get that shit for telling someone ELSE... who is actually flaming, harrassing or otherwise being a pill... to stop.

Or like this particular time... for telling someone that my panties weren't in a bunch, I asked a couple of questions... and how the difference should've been real obvious... apparently it was nto obvious. I don't know if it was obvious to the original person I'd asked that, but I do know it wasn't obvious to the hypersensitive (and none-too-bright) Mod that suspended me and talked to me like a 3 yr old.

This mod's a reactionary freak-show, really. If she can't find an offending post, she'll twist a perfectly acceptable post into an offense.

I'm not so mad at being suspended for a day.. though.. that's highly annoying! But I am pretty annoyed at this holier-than-thou wad of idiocy moderating the list and her selective "oh you've broken the rules... well.. MY RULES anyway" crap.

Just realized that I have a lot more to say (no, not about the Mod), btu not enough time. Will do it later.
